I do tend to proactively look for hair products that are sulphate-free, eco-friendly, produced ethically and with natural ingredients. I am post-menopause and my hair is fine and straight.
The first, obvious observation when using the shampoo for the first time is its fragrance. Rather than feeling like you are in a hair salon, it is like being in Hotel Chocolat! The coffee / chocolatey smell is relatively strong - unusual but certainly not unpleasant. I really like the fact the products are made from upcycled coffee oil. The consistency of the shampoo is quite watery but it does lather up well and feels both nourishing and moisturising. Both my hair and scalp feel clean and hydrated afterwards - l have a dry, sensitive scalp but it has felt, with continued use, good for my scalp and the texture of my hair.
